A letter from Delta Delta Delta’s President

Hi everyone!

My name is Caroline Scalia, and I am honored to serve as the chapter President of Tri Delta. It is such a privilege to represent Tri Delta each and every day, and it means everything to share my love for the place that has shown me such genuine, unwavering love in return.

Being a part of a sorority means you are a part of something greater than yourself. Since choosing Tri Delta during recruitment, I have experienced true belonging through sisterhood. Our motto, “Let us steadfastly love one another,” is not just something we say with confidence, it is something we live out every single day. We show up for one another in times of celebration and in times of hardship, fully and faithfully. I continue to be inspired by the ways these women uplift each other, consistently choosing love and encouragement in everything they do.

Tri Delta and the Panhellenic community welcome growth–as something that isn’t expected, but encouraged. I could truly talk forever about the opportunities, support, and connection this community has brought into my life. This chapter continues to push each other toward academic success, service in supporting our philanthropy St. Jude, involvement in organizations across campus, and growth in leadership roles. Panhellenic creates a space where women are inspired to thrive, and Tri Delta embodies that in every way.

You deserve to find the love and support in this community that I have found within Tri Delta and Panhellenic. So, if I could give you one piece of advice before entering the recruitment process, it would be to put your whole self out there and allow others to see and experience the real you. I promise it will be one of the most rewarding things you do. I can confidently say that the relationships I have built within this chapter have allowed me to see myself the way they see me.

As you go through this process, I encourage you to resonate with one of my favorite Tri Delta mottos: "We do not want you to come to Tri Delta and be like us, we want you to come to Tri Delta and be like you." There are so many women who cannot wait to meet you, and I hope that you find the place that makes you feel the most seen, supported, and at home.

DLOVE, Caroline Scalia
