Recruitment Registration

Registration for recruitment will open Fall 2026 and will close January 2027.

Eligibility Requirements

Elon University has a deferred joining policy for students interested in values-based social fraternities and sororities. To be eligible to participate in recruitment/intake activities, students must:

  1. Be enrolled as a full-time student.

  2. Have earned at least 12 credits at Elon or transferred to Elon with at least 12 credit hours from another college or university.

  3. Not be on academic or disciplinary probation.

  4. Meet the minimum GPA requirements of the respective governing council and/or organization. The Panhellenic Association has determined that all undergraduate female students who have obtained at least a 2.900 cumulative grade point average as of the closing date of the registration process are eligible to register and participate in sorority recruitment. GPAs through Fall 2025 will be used to determine eligibility – Winter Term 2026 will not count for eligibility purposes. There are no exceptions to the GPA requirement.

  5. Complete the registration online and pay the registration fee by the deadline. The fee is used to pay for meals for PNMs during recruitment, as well as other operational expenses.

  6. Complete the online Potential New Member Orientation. After submitting the online registration, you will receive an email with the link and instructions for completing the Potential New Member Orientation.

A Letter from our Vice President of Recruitment

Dear Potential New Members, 

Hi! I'm Maddie, and I'm the Vice President of Recruitment for Elon Panhellenic! I'm so honored to serve this community and I'm so excited to see you all find your forever homes within one of our AMAZING chapters. You have my full support as you step into this new chapter of your lives, and I can't wait to see all that you do! Being a part of a Panhellenic sorority is more than just cute Instagram posts and social events. It means being surrounded by strong women who have your back as you move through your college years. This community is full of unique, kind, and intelligent individuals. Whatever you're passionate about, I guarantee there's a sister in our community interested in the same things and willing to be a mentor or friend. 

I completely understand being nervous about this process, but I guarantee you'll find what you're looking for in our community. I know that starting college is a scary unknown; maybe you feel the same way about recruitment, I know I did. But, just like every challenge or unknown you have faced, you'll make it through and be all the better for it. If I can give you one piece of advice, when you get that uncertain feeling, it's to see it through. Let the process be nerve-racking, unsettling, or even scary. You will never regret giving this experience a shot, but you will always think “what if” if you let this opportunity slip through your fingers. My time in a panhellenic sorority has pushed my limits and encouraged me to become the best version of myself and I wouldn't trade that growth and all the love and light I've experienced for anything. I hope that, whatever way you choose to go through this process, you find the same acceptance and happiness within our community that I have. 

Our chapters are so excited to meet you and get to know the spectacular women you are. It can be hard to remember in the moment that each chapter wants to know your heart, your dreams, your values, and everything in between, but they do! Be authentic! Give your hot takes, opinions, likes, and dislikes; all of that will lead you to the group of women that share your values and want to celebrate ALL that you are. Our chapters are unique, but they are also fundamentally similar. There's something that drew you to Elon, and then again to Panhellenic, just like all of our chapter members. You already have more in common with this community than you think, and there is a perfect fit for you! So, GO GREEK! I look forward to meeting you all and being a resource for anything you may need as you begin this process. Most of all, I can't wait to see you all settle into your forever homes! #PanhelLove
